The short version
305 is a small studio. The only personal information we collect on this site is what you type into the contact form — your name, your email and your message. We use it to get back to you and nothing else. We don’t track you, we don’t sell anything to anyone, and we don’t run analytics.
Who we are
For the purposes of UK GDPR, the data controller is 305. If you have questions about your data, or you want a copy of it, or you want us to delete it, email hello@305.studio and we’ll sort it.
What we collect
Only what you give us via the contact form on /contact:
- Your name
- The email address you want us to reply to
- The message you write
We don’t use cookies for analytics or advertising. The only thing we keep in your browser is a small flag in localStorage so the cookie banner doesn’t show every time you visit. That data never leaves your browser.
Why we collect it
To reply to your enquiry, and to keep a record of past enquiries so we can pick conversations back up if needed. The legal basis for processing this is our legitimate interest in responding to people who get in touch with us.
Where it goes
When you submit the contact form, your message is sent to:
- Formspree — the service that delivers the submission to us. Their privacy policy is at formspree.io/legal/privacy-policy.
- Our inbox — so we can read it and reply.
- A Google Sheet— so we have a record of enquiries. Google’s privacy policy applies to anything stored there: policies.google.com/privacy.
The site itself is hosted by Vercel. They can see standard web request data (IP address, user agent, page requested) for security and operational reasons. Their privacy policy is at vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy.
How long we keep it
Contact form enquiries are kept for as long as a project relationship is active, and for up to 24 months after our last contact in case the conversation picks back up. After that we delete it. If you want us to delete it sooner, just ask.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to ask us to:
- Show you what data we hold about you
- Correct anything that’s wrong
- Delete what we hold
- Stop using it for a specific purpose
- Give it back to you in a portable format
To do any of these, email hello@305.studio. You’re also entitled to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk) if you think we’ve handled your data badly.
Changes to this policy
If we change anything material we’ll update this page and bump the “last updated” date at the top. There’s no mailing list to notify, so come back here if you want to check.
